I've been training with Teresa for nearly 3 years now . I started with an intensive program of 3 sessions a week to really kick start my fitness and it paid off. Now I train with Teresa once a week to help maintain my fitness level. As someone who has little time and motivation to exercise, especially on my own, working with Teresa has been my Savior. Never one to let me miss a week's training she will re-arrange my session and chase me up if necessary. Every training session is different but all are planned in advance to work towards my goals and she always pushes me to that point where I've nothing left. Teresa is very knowledgeable, motivational and friendly. What more could I ask for?

I used to think my life/health was as good as it gets! Having suffered a car accident & suffering with chronic pain, discomfort, tension & stiffness everyday. Without knowing it, I was compensating using other muscles just to carry out daily activities, not knowing the devastating & important effects my effected muscles were going through. Not only did it effect me physically but I knew it was effecting me mentally! I thought about going to gyms but knew i did not have the motivation required. I needed professional help (one on one).
Teresa rescued me from a person who was feeling low & had basically given up! I remember the first session Teresa explaining to me what I was feeling, where the pain, tension & discomforts were, I remember thinking wow!!

As I neared a milestone birthday I made a decision to get fit and make a life style change in terms of how I thought about food and exercise. My daughter had recently attended a bootcamp with Teresa so she influenced me that her approach and the individuality of one on one sessions were just what I was looking for. She was right, from my very first meeting with Teresa I knew I would be able to work uninhibited and with a flexible schedule that fitted in with my hectic and long working hours.
So, I took a deep breath and took the plunge to invest in my own fitness and well-being. From day one Teresa wanted to understand my personal goals and provided the structure to achieve these. The sessions are challenging, motivating and you are not let off the hook if certain aspects are tough, so it is often with gritted teeth I persevere, but the reward is when you are driving home knowing that you have achieved something new.
I have been working with Teresa for 18 months and in that time I achieved a sensible weight reduction, still some work to do but this is linked to lifestyle change and I am happy with my progress. I feel fitter, stronger and have more energy to cope with life and my career.
More recently I participated in the Perkins Great Eastern Run, something 2 years ago I would never have though possible, and this has been due to Teresa's excellent work-plan she set me, her patience and encouragement along the way.

I have just finished doing a bootcamp with a friend; we booked it because we wanted to kick start some changes. We used to go to the gym and/or Teresa’s classes but we wanted to see the results of a more intensive approach. We booked 3 sessions per week over 6 weeks and it has flown by – I can’t say we loved every moment (what with it being hard work!) but as I have lost 4cm off my waist, strengthened and trimmed down my shoulders, and my back, plus toning up a bit on my stubborn hips and thighs, I am over the moon.
I would absolutely recommend bootcamp and have subsequently booked Teresa as a personal trainer ongoing for 2 sessions each week.
She really knows how to get the best out of you.

I booked bootcamp to shift the post-pregnancy weight and loved it!
The motivation and variation in excerises (tailored to activities I enjoy) from Teresa was brilliant. The sessions were flexible and fitted around my hectic home and work life. After just a couple of sessions I actually began to enjoy exercise for the first time in a long time!
I have since continued regular training sessions with Teresa and look forward to them each week. I'm fitter, healthier and recommend both bootcamp and personal training to all. No matter what your level of fitness, Teresa will push your boundaries and that brings a massive sense of achievement as well as losing the inches.

I got in touch with Scott-Johnson Fitness after a series of terrible experiences with gyms and personal training sessions, in a last attempt to get a bit fitter and to find an exercise programme that worked for me. Like a lot of people I have a fairly busy life and find it hard to find time for training. My aim was to get fitter in a relatively short amount of time, so I opted for the intensive training sessions with Scott-Johnson Fitness.
Having Teresa actually come to me for my sessions and being able to train intensively at home was a great change from the gym and having had really bad experiences with gym personal trainers, it was a real pleasure to be able to work with someone who has such an in-depth knowledge of the body. If something ached, she knew why - which is most reassuring.
I decided to continue with the training sessions after August because I was getting such good results. I also (in a moment of madness) suggested that I take on the Great Eastern Run in October, so from September onwards the focus was on training for the longest run I would have ever attempted.
On 15th August I attempted my first 4 mile run. It killed me. But in October I successfully completed my first half-marathon. Yes, the 13.1 miles killed me, but a massive achievement, and one down solely to Teresa.

I chose to do an intensive fitness programme with Scott-Johnson Fitness as I wanted to see some quick results with my overall fitness and body shape. Having completed just three weeks of my intensive course I was amazed at the results, not only had I lost several inches from various parts of my body but also a significant weight loss, body fat drop and BMI drop.
My trainer, Teresa, is very professional and friendly, she very quickly works out how you tick, what motivates you and what doesn't, what you are capable of and what needs works. She has motivated me to get fit for life, to enjoy things, like running, that I never thought I would! To aim for and exceed my goals and all in such a short space of time. I've heard people say you can get addicted to exercise, having only ever been addicted to chocolate and sweets in the past, I found this hard to believe but, as I move now from the intensive fitness programme I have done for the past 4 weeks into a more of a maintenance level, I actually feel disappointed that I can't do more, and have become addicted to getting great results in a short space of time.
I would recommend Scott-Johnson Fitness to anyone who wants to improve their fitness, get a better body shape or lose weight, they actually make achieving your goals enjoyable as well as hard work.

Just Wanted to say a big or rather a slightly smaller thank you since you helped me lose some weight.
I was totally unfit and over weight, till I met Teresa. We discussed a training program with reference to getting me fitter. I am spending a lot of time driving around the country in my job capacity and felt I was not getting any exercise, I was just sitting around.
I enlisted the help of Teresa as my personal trainer and in six weeks she achieved what my wife has been trying to do and failing for the best part of 20 years; loose weight and get me fit. (I have managed to shave off 5.6% of my Body Fat Percentage in six weeks with a total of 27.6cm loss overall.)
I feel that she has actually saved my life. The first thing she did on my first session was check my general health and took measurements, including my blood pressure. She found my blood pressure was really high, she went as white as a sheet when she saw the reading, (with her skills she has since managed to bring it down to a normal level.)
Teresa has made structural changes in my life style, and in effect extended my life. The training programs that she administers are never the same. She has a marvelous way of varying the programs and so made exercising fun for me. She skillfully identified my limits and worked to that and a little beyond every time.
I have a great deal of respect for her training methods and her personality, and would recommend her without hesitation.
